History

Ferus is a North American based company specializing in providing integrated solutions to the energy industry for well stimulation, well completions and enhanced oil recovery. We provide a dedicated supply of cryogenic fluids, as well as the related logistical services to deliver those products where needed, when needed. Our primary product and service lines include; liquid nitrogen (N2), liquid carbon dioxide (CO2), transportation, storage and on-site services.

Our Story

Ferus began operations in 2002 with a small, dedicated group of individuals committed to providing energy industry solutions to the growing demand for cryogenic products and logistical services in the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin.

Since that time, Ferus has become a market leader in the regions in which it operates, with 8 cryogenic facilities in operation or under construction along with over 175 transportation and storage assets that are specifically designed for oilfield operations.

In the summer of 2010, Ferus announced an expanshion of its operations beyond the borders of Alberta with the construction of two new, state-of-the-art liquid nitrogen facilities in northeastern British Columbia and eastern Kentucky. The total capital commitment to these projects including associated equipment and storage vessels will be in excess of $50 million and will greatly enhance Ferus’ product services offerings in Canada as well as establish our operational presence in the United States.
